Pinewood Derby

Learning and achieve are important tenents in the life of a Boy Scout.

Beginning in the fall, boys work on their cars and prepare for the races.  Thanks to Placitas volunteer Leland Bowen, our boys get expert help in transforming their blocks of wood.

Outdoor Adventures
Following Scout Laws

We are very fortunate, indeed, to have David Gardner as both our Optimist Club Vice President and as our Pack Master.  He always has great adventures for our boys, from swimming, fishing, hiking, camping to bicycle formations in the parades.

Our boys begin as Webelos and progress through the ranks to become Boy Scouts.
